I don’t blame the drivers. If so many are driving badly, its systematic. Companies like grubhub and ubereats deliberately make the deliveries pay less to incentivize a faster completion. These poverty rates lead to dangerous behavior because people struggling to make rent don’t want to get 2 stars ratings on what is essentially their main income. We should create systems that help people become better versions of themselves, and that starts by getting rid of these companies abusing legal loopholes to pay their driving “contractors” poverty wages.
